Welcome to the ISJ for August 2009.

First, I'd like to thank my Assistant Editor, Lock Lyon, for handling production of the ISJ last month, at extremely short notice,  as I was “out of the country” for a few weeks.

This month we've got a smaller than usual offering due to vacation restrictions.  As with most IDUG offerings the ISJ is produced by volunteers : authors, reviewers and web admin folks all have “real jobs” and families which have to take priority.
