Speaker Bio: "Bill Moran is a Principal Software Consultant with BMC Software. Bill has over 30 years experience in the IS environment, including operations, applications and database. His work has involved managing multiple RDBMS environments such as IMS, DB2 and Oracle. Currently at BMC, Bill’s responsibilities include consulting to BMC’s customers on issues relating to IBM DB2 frameworks and their corresponding BMC products. He has supported numerous customers in disaster recovery setup and implementation including major US banks and financial institutions; taught BMC education in North America and Europe.
He has been with BMC Software for 15 years and has held various positions within BMC in software consulting, marketing and development. Prior to coming to BMC, Bill was IT Technical Leader at a major GE division supporting the DB2, IMS and Oracle databases across the enterprise.
