Speaker Bio: Michael works as a consultant, architect and trainer for DB2 LUW and Data Warehousing. He graduated with a Master of Science from the Institute of Technology in Munich and started out as a trainer for DB2 when he introduced the IBM Business Intelligence course curriculum in Germany. With about 15 years experience in teaching and many years of projects and consultancy work, Michael is increasingly focussed on the architecture and implementation of Data Warehouse projects (from ETL to the creation of analytical reports). Michael was awarded as IBM Information Champion in 2010 and in 2011.

Abstract: From a long history of DB2 consultings and educational events I have collected a set of very handy DB2 functionalities which are widely unknown to most DBAs and DB2 folks. Some came in a fixpacks some are rarely documented and some might be even hidden. From the DB2 utilities to front end functionalities this session will show you neat features which might help you in your daily work. Learn what you could use in your existing installation or with free additional IBM tools if you just knew it....
