New article: using SCALA on DB2 for z/OS

The first article on this months topic "legacy migrations" is written by our young volunteer Ludovic Janssens of Infocura in Belgium.  He provides us with a very good overview of the possibilities of new technologies.  This fits our topic of legacy migrations perfect, this article is the first of two so be sure to keep an eye out for part 2, coming up this month.

He compares technologies like scala, squeryl and anorm, all providing new ways development of development towards DB2 (both on LUW and z/OS). He shortly gives his opinion on the strengths and weaknesses.
