Building Really Cool Queries with SQL

On oldie but a goodie by Dan Luksetich.  All still relevant today.

There are a lot of really good programmers. People who can write really solid
programs in a short amount of time. However, as we move legacy applications into
complex relational environments, even some of the best programmers can get stuck
switching their mindset from coding in their favorite language to coding in SQL.

This presentation will attempt to address SQL as “just another program language”.
The point is to get people used to the language from their perspective. Once they get
started, the sky’s the limit!
