Taming the Dynamic SQL Beast

Taming the Dynamic SQL Beast – Adrian Burke

Mining through the Dynamic Statement Cache with IBM Data Studio – Saghi Amirsoleymani

The video below is a presentation recorded at the IDUG DB2 North America Tech Conference in May 2015. It begins with Adrian Burke discussing the challenges associated with tuning dynamic SQL. At the 39:00 mark, Saghi Amirsoleymani discusses the features available in the no-charge version of IBM Data Studio that are helpful in solving these challenges. The presentation focuses primarily on DB2 for z/OS but will likely be of some value for DB2 on LUW as well.

Enjoy!
