Two Upcoming IDUG Conferences for You

Welcome to September! Exciting things are happening with IDUG. The IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australia is just around the corner. We hope to see you in Melbourne from 15-18 September for three full days packed with 65 hours of education options.

Not able to attend in conference in Melbourne? You still have time to register and plan to attend the IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Dublin, Ireland! Held 15-20 November, this event offers six days of education sessions, half and full-day workshops, more than 100 one-hour technical sessions, and more. Register by 21 September to save!

We hope that you find the new navigation and format of the IDUG website user friendly. You may have noticed the pop-up notification on IDUG.org asking you to update your profile information. This helps ensure the content and emails you receive are targeted to the type of DB2 user you are, and what you're interested in. Please take the time to update your profile.

I’m writing this President Message on behalf of Anna Brodie who has just started her maternity leave. Part of my current duties as Immediate Past President of IDUG is overlooking special projects and I’m happy to report that Anna is right on schedule with delivering on her personal special project.

As for my daily minimum 10k steps I told you about a while back, I can inform you that when you read this I’ll be past 3 million steps since beginning of 2015.

Thanks,

Bjarne Nelson on behalf of Anna Brodie
2015/16 IDUG President
