In the last two President’s Letters, I have highlighted the work of two of the IDUG volunteer committees. IDUG is a user run organization and I want to properly recognize all the volunteers that make this a great organization, so each month I will be highlighting a different committee. This month I will be highlighting the EMEA Conference Planning Committee (EMEACPC).
The EMEACPC has been working very hard on the EMEA conference, which will be held November 13 – 17 in Brussels, Belgium. Thank you to Iqbal Goralwalla, Frederik Engelen, Mateja Jankovic, Philip Nelson, Jacek Rafalak, Timm Zimmermann, Roland Schock, and Steve Thomas for all your efforts on creating what is shaping up to be an excellent event. The liaisons to the committee, Mirna Kos, Surekha Parekh, Zeljen Stanic and Paul Oostvogels provide a lot of support to the committee and as a community, we all reap the benefits.
The EMEA 2016 Conference Agenda is now available. There are many great technical sessions to choose from.
The conference is hosting complimentary workshops on Sunday and Thursday plus FREE IBM Certification Exams throughout the conference.
You can utilize the Justification Template to justify your attendance at the conference.
Register today so you don’t miss the fantastic technical presentations, networking opportunities, free certification seminars and free certification exams. To help grow our IDUG community, sign up as a mentor and help a mentee learn more about IDUG. Mentee’s also get a great conference rate.
