A belated happy new year to you all. I am very excited about the forthcoming year for IDUG. We have three great conferences taking place in Denver, Colorado, USA, Sydney, Australia and Berlin, Germany.
Writing this entry on Christmas Eve, it seems appropriate to take a look back at the year. Yet it feels strange to do so as I am half way through my term as IDUG President and will be writing my May entry looking back at my year as President as well.
There was great education at the 2011 IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Prague, Czech Republic. The week started with a fantastic keynote from Curt Cotner and Namik Hrle. It really got me thinking about some changes we can expect to see in the future.
I always get excited as we approach IDUG conferences. The 2011 IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Prague, Czech Republic is no different. I have attended numerous IDUG conferences already, so why do I still get excited? There are two major reasons for this.
recently returned from the IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australia. This was the first time I had been to Australia, so it was a great opportunity to meet the community. The volunteer team, led by Anna Brodie, did a fantastic job putting together a great week of DB2 technical training and
