I am looking at some basic workload management control and monitoring issues on a DB2 pureScale setup. Is there anything unique or different about WLM on pureScale? How does it work?
The Workload Manager dispatcher technology introduced in DB2 10.1 offers a powerful and simple interface for controlling CPU. The two controls used to provide direction to the WLM dispatcher are CPU limits and CPU shares. Ever wonder how to choose between them?
At times, we slide enhancements into the product after it has been GA'd. Here is a list that some people have found useful for what is available and when in DB2 fix packs for workload management and monitoring features.
Question: I found this document in which you tested the integration between the DB2 Workload Management and Microstrategy, is there any update about how to do this with DB2 BLU?
We use WAS with connection pooling from multiple WAS applications and we are wondering how/if we can use the WLM connection attributes. Are those connection attributes only set at connection pool setup time, or how frequently are they changed?
