IDUG My Conference - Coming Soon!

Build your own conference agenda using IDUG’s My Conference feature. Each attendee can customize their week at IDUG.  The “My Agenda” tab gives attendee’s the ability to customize their conference choices including technical sessions, technical networking sessions, social networking and zero weight gain opportunities. This My Conferece allows attendee’s to evaluate sessions and the overall conference. Attendees can download their custom agenda or hook up their calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook 2010, etc.) to the iCalendar link and have the information at their fingertips.

CONFERENCE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The Conference Agenda will be coming soon! Attendees will be able to access speaker's biography, presentation abstract and 5 key bullet points on the sessions available throughout the conference. Speakers can access their session information here and can update the abstracts selected for the program, provided the thread chair is notified of any changes.


SPEAKER DEADLINES


Below are the important speaker deliverable deadlines for IDUG Australasia 2017:
Draft Presentation Due: August 4, 2017
Final Presentation Due: August 25, 2017

We encourage all speakers to adhere to these deadlines or notify the Thread Chairs with any reasons why you cannot meet these dates. 
Your Thread Chair will confirm receipt of all materials sent to meet the above deadlines. Your Thread Chair is the primary contact for all communications related to the conference, including submitting draft/final presentation, registration and other questions you may have for a successful conference.

IDUG PRESENTATION TEMPLATE

Please use the official IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australia 2017 template to assist you in preparing your presentation for the conference proceedings. The presentation template must be used throughout the entire presentation slide deck. The Speaker Guidelines document on this page provides directives for what information to include on certain slides.

VOLUNTEER TO MODERATE A SESSION

We ask each speaker to volunteer to moderate one or more sessions at the conference. Instructions on how to sign-up to moderate will be published soon. 

HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR PRESENTATIONS

Please upload your draft presentation by August 4, 2017.
Please upload your final presentation by August 25, 2017.

Please convert your presentation to pdf format (with Notes) prior to uploading the file.
  • If using Microsoft Office 2003 – Print to PDF (install PDFCreator free tool from sourceforge.net)
  • If using Microsoft Office 2007 and above – save file as PDF
  • If using Lotus Symphony – Export as PDF.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

If you are a primary or an alternate speaker, you will receive a complimentary registration to IDUG Australasia 2017 conference. You will be able to register for the conference through the IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australia 2017 registration site using the speaker discount code that will be provided by your thread chair in a future email communication. If you are a co-speaker you will be entitled to a discounted registration, additional instructions for completing the co-speaker discounted registration will be provided by your Thread Chair in a future email.

All speakers are responsible for booking their own accommodations for IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Melbourne, Australia 2017 We will have suggested places to stay coming soon
