To tune the performance of your Informix IDS Server, performance statistics need to be monitored and collected. This session will focus on how to use Unix utilities and scripts, what to monitor, and scripts to collect data to tune your server. We will look at UNIX utilities including SAR, vmstat, iostat, and top to identify bottlenecks and areas where you can improve the performance of the database server.
