Traditionally the DB2 for z/OS utilities have been aimed squarely at database administration functions. However, there are a number of changes that have been creeping into the utilities which make them more useful for application development and support functions. This is especially true of some of the Version 8 changes. This presentation looks at some of these enhancements and considers how they may be used.
