Most large data centers are now involved with multiple database systems. The three top systems are DB2 UDB, SQL Server, and Oracle. Many DBAs will have to move quickly from one DBMS to another in the course of the day. This presentations covers key commonalities and differences and issues encountered in years of working with each of these DBMSs and striving to get them to play well together.
