Stored procedures are valuable tools in Informix that help you enforce business rules, limit and monitor data access, write simple applications and improve performance. This presentation covers some of the basic aspects of writing a stored procedure, debugging, exception handling and other notable aspects of stored procedures (e.g., Set Explain output, privileges and creating indexes on stored procedures).
