Recently we decided to evaluate the impact of changing some of our DB2 plan bind isolation level from Cursor Stability(CS) to Uncommitted Read(UR). A before and after comparison of the two settings yielded interesting results in our environment. Improved application concurrency, more processing at lower cost, and more hours of system availability - all with applications coexisting without incident. Paradise found!
