Current trends show that IT budgets allocate more funds to integration projects than to new applications. Integration is no easy task. IT assets are developed independently, reside in different locations,etc. In this talk, we discuss metadata requirements driven by integration. We'll show that integration scenarios from many domains are characterized by common tasks, and we discuss the metadata requirements for each task.
