This presentation will discuss how to build the next generation of applications by exploiting the XML capabilities offered by DB2 in a Systems Oriented Architecture (SOA) framework. It will show how DB2 can assume the roles of a producer and consumer of web services. It will walk through a couple of customer scenarios and show how schema evolution is handled and how mixing of SQL and XQuery allows powerful searches on relational and XML data.
