In many DB2 shops, more and more solutions are based on WebSphere Application Server and yet there is a limited understanding on how WebSphere and DB2 interact with each other beyond just the SQL. In this session, we'll walk through the architecture of WebSphere, the flow of a query, and then identify the best practice for performance monitoring, configuration, and application when interfacing with DB2.
