Prior to DB2 9, it was difficult to administer DB2 through anything but the command line which restricted administration in an SOA environment. Come learn about the new DB2 9 SQL administrative API (procedures, UDFs, views, etc). See how easy it is to build portable applications designed to operate under a single database connection to administer DB2.

Learn new monitoring views and functions to ease multi-partition monitoring

Learn new stored procedure capabilities to allow for most administrative function currently run from CLP
