High Availability is not a single feature in DB2 for Linux, UNIX, Windows. There are a number of features that can be implemented based on your needs and your budget. Chris will walk you through the various High Availability solutions provided by DB2 from simple backup/recovery and log management to High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) to the new DB2 Continuous Availability Server. Each technical solution will be discussed for it's architectural pros and cons so that you can decide which solution is right for a given set of application requirements.
