High Availability is not a single feature in DB2 for Linux, UNIX, Windows. There are a number of features that can be implemented based on your needs and your budget. Chris will walk you through the various High Availability solutions provided by DB2 from simple backup/recovery and log management to High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) and Q Replication. Each technical solution will be discussed for it's architectural pros and cons so that you can decide which solution is right for a given set of application requirements.
