Java stored procedures were introduced to DB2 for z/OS Version 7 and have had many enhancements since then. With the announcement of the zSeries Application Assist Processor (zAAP), Java (TM) on z/OS becomes more attractive for many customers. This presentation will describe the setup and current environment for Java routines including the Universal Java Driver and the latest IBM SDK for z/OS.
