This presentation looks at all the aspects of DB2 for z/OS performance considering how both applications and systems can be improvedWe'll start with Access Paths and head through an alohabetical journey to ZparmsAlong the way we will discover that performance tuning is actually a lot simpler than most people imagine. It's really just about stopping DB2 wasting time doing thninngs it doesn't need to do so that the resources can be focussed on those things that are important
