This presentation puts some substance behind the statement "it depends"! There are many different ways to code a SQL statement to answer a given question. While the answer will be the same, the performance can vary dramatically depending upon the statement construct and data structure. Here we will look at the different major ways of coding SQL, and when is the proper way to code which technique. Learn about how to effective code joins, table expressions, and subqueries the correct way for the correct situation.
