This presentation is about how to create and deploy Java applications running in the database server. After a brief coverage of the Java environment setup in IDS 10, we show how to build a Java UDR application that goes far beyond the simple static functions one typically sees. Advantages and disadvantages of this method, as well as a step by step approach are covered.
