This presentation is a deep dive into DB2 9 for z/OS and looks at all of the new features in turn, including XML, universal table spaces and new SQL constructs. This is a full day expose of what is new in DB2, including a full section on those changes that have taken place SINCE the initial GA delivery.
The latest in the series of "In Depth" presentations (that started with DB2 version 6!) looks at the latest and greatest release - DB2 10 for z/OS
After the excitement of the Unicode catalog in DB2 V8 and XML in DB2 9, DB2 10 almost goes back to the traditional set of enhancements - but don't underestimate what IBM have delivered
This full day class will look at all of the new facilities available in DB2 10

Catalog restructure (to UTS)
Deprecation of Plans with DBRMs, old plan_table formats, DB2 Private Protocol, classic partitioned table spaces
