Topic: 2012 NA
Subtopic: Cross Platform DB2 for z/OS & LUW
This session will look at the new IBM InfoSphere Optim Configuration Manager solution and how it can help consolidate configuration for DB2, Applications, Applications Servers, JDBC connections and more! You will learn how to regain control over workloads against data servers and provide them with the tools to address performance or availability issues. The solution can provide capabilities such as “penalty boxing” a set of misbehaving transactions, throttle connections, optimize connection pooling, as well as allowing you to manage the configuration for distributed applications, DB2, connections and application servers from one central location. Discussion will also bring in real-world problems from a large DB2 customer and the solutions OCM provides.
