Topic: 2013 NA
Subtopic: DB2 for z/OS
After delivering a large variety of very specific DB2 for z/OS subjects over the years, this presentation takes a completely different approach. Rather than concentrating on one subject, it contains small bits of information on a multitude of different topics giving amble time for discussion on any one subject. Although not a complete list, some of the DB2 features planned for discussion are resources I use, statistics, plan management, parallelism, dynamic statement caching, DFSORT, RDS sort, RID processing, EXPLAIN, compression, SMF compression, production modeling, buffer pools, the DB2 accelerator, and more. The plan is not to cover them all, but to make it through as many of the topics of interest as possible
