It's tough being a relational database these days. Everyone wants to jump on the open-source, no-SQL, no-security or anything that really matters to DBA, bandwagon. Well, in reality, DB2 can participate in this NoSQL World as well. This session will give the attendee a background on what NoSQL is, why it is so popular (aside from improving resumes!) and how DB2 can fit into this world. Don't take NoSQL lying down! DB2 can act as a NoSQL data store and give you the capabilities you really need from a NoSQL database.
