The release of DB2 9.7 in conjunction with the release of POWER7 servers from IBM has brought together a solution for customers that is second to none. Join Chris as he discusses the exploitations built into DB2 to take advantage of the latest IBM Power Systems servers. Chris will also discuss the technical differences between DB2 on POWER7 vs. Oracle on Sun. Chris will discuss both OTLP exploitation and the strength of DB2 pureScale on IBM Power as well as the IBM Smart Analytics System for data warehousing on IBM power servers.
