We will discuss methods of using a DB2 log processing tool to accomplish the auditing requirements mandated in your environment. Discussion and examples will be included to show how to monitor power users (e.g. SYSADMs), track changes in authorizations and underlying structures, look for updates to sensitive columns and more. The additional uses of a DB2 log tool will also be covered to show how they can be used for transaction level recovery, data migration, adhoc and regular reporting, and for problem diagnosis.
