SPEAKERS: Chris Eaton (IBM Toronto Lab)

In previous releases, IBM had shipped a set of user defined table functions to give you SQL access to snapshot data. Now in DB2 9 there are a set of administrative views that you can query directly from SQL to get both snapshot information as well as high value monitoring information about your database and the operating system that database is running on. Join Chris as he takes you through the new administrative views and gives you SQL statements you can use right away to monitor the performance and health of your DB2 9 database.
