A good database design is part science, part experience and is the foundation on delivering a high performance and highly available DB2 application. This session will discuss areas that Randy has seen as the most important to focus on and deliver based on his involvement in more than 200 DB2 database/application designs. We will discuss various real life scenarios in this session and provide suggestions on how to best deliver the design based on the performance and availability requirements.
