Multi-row fetch in DB2 V8 is a thing of beauty. It improves fetching throughput and reduces CPU as well. Converting existing programs to exploit what is perhaps the major performance enhancement in V8 involves changing code. This session will show a technique for "bridging" the gap between traditional fetch and multi-row fetch that is tried and tested and will make exploiting this enhancement a breeze.
