This session plans to introduce and discuss availability issues related to reducing planned and unplanned downtime, managing to service level agreemen, recommendations on software maintance strategy, promote the use of data sharing and the use of V6->V9 features to eliminate planned outages or to reduce planned outage time, virtual storage management, and faster restart and recovery.
