Although DB2 9 for z/OS has not yet been officially announced by IBM, there is significant information available in the public domain. The snag is, this is well spread out and mostly written by IBM - the database vendorThis presentation looks at what MIGHT be coming in DB2 9 (no-one knows for sure yet) and what the impacts may be for the futureIMPORTANT NOTEAlthough CA is a business partner of IBM, it is also a signatory to a non-dsclosure agreement. The content of this session is therefore going to cover ONLY what is in the public domain and will NOT address items that may (or may not) be known about the current status of DB2 9
