Securing information assets and restricting data access to only those with the need to know is becoming a significant challenge for many organizations today. DB2 LUW Security has been enriched with several new capabilities since version 8. This presentation will give an overview of the new security capabilities introduced in version 9 as well as a look ahead into the upcoming security capabilities in DB2 Python.
