Onpladm is a command-line interface to the High-Performance Loader (HPL) in Informix Dynamic ServerŪ (IDS) 9.21 and later versions. The high-performance loader has existed since IDS 7.3, but the only 'official' way to set up unload/load jobs was through an X-term based GUI interface, which limited its effectiveness. Even though there were user-defined methods for populating the onpload database, no official command-line tool existed until IDS 9.21.
