Purging and reorganizing large,partitioned 2+Billion row tables in a 24X7 environment can be challenging. This presentation consists of a method and best practices for creating a shadow table utilizing unload,load and Rename Table to accomplish this without interuption to the 24X7 load processing and online Select access. Compression dictionary is created on all parts with stats and all indexes reorged with no logging.
