This presentation looks at many of the myriad of performance factors affecting a DB2 for z/OS subsystem and it's applications. Which ones can you tune, and which ones will make the biggest impact. We will also look at things outside of DB2 that can affect the performance. Many of the tricks from the olden-days (before relational databases) can still be used to enhance DB2 applications
