Migrating data from a non-IBM database into Informix Dynamic Server is now quick and easy thanks to the IBM Migration Toolkit (MTK). A standalone tool, MTK supports converting many SQL features such as DDL, DML, triggers, procedures and functions from numerous source databases including Oracle, ASA, ASE and SQL Server to targets Informix Dynamic Server or as well DB2. MTK can extract schema information and data directly from the source and deploy it to the target. This presentation will offer an introduction to the tool and highlight features of the latest release, 1.4.
