Verison 8 provides many potential performance increases for users. Many of these performance enhancements are part of the DB2 code. This presentation will examine the changes in DB2 Version 8 data sharing design that will directly improve performance. Although many of the features disussed in this presentation do not require user input, it is important to understand their potential impact on production systems.
