SP’s, Triggers and Check Constraints all provide ways to integrate business rules into the database. This talk will demonstrate how business rules can be coded directly into a row/column data structure. "Rule_Weight" and "Not_Rule" columns are offered to implement a table-driven logic solution that provides AND/OR and IF/ELSE relationships. Organizational control over embedded business rules is enhanced as a result.
