This session is the case studies about 20 selected database performance problems in the real-time applications and how various tuning techniques are used to solve those problems. For example, the incorrect use of tempdb can cause it to become new source of performance bottleneck. The best practices will detail how to use the tuning techniques in the most efficient way. While many tuning solutions are Informix specific, others can be also applied to other DBMS like DB2, Oracle or SQL Server.
