MODERATE A SESSION
Session moderators are essential to the success of each and every IDUG conference and you can help. It is also an excellent way to volunteer with minimal impact on your time. Why not moderate a session that you are already planning on attending? No previous experience is necessary. The moderator duties are simple and they include introducing the speaker, keeping the speaker on time and collecting evaluation cards.It's an excellent way for you to make a new friend or to make a new networking contact. SPEAKER REGISTRATION Please register for the IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Berlin by completing the following steps. 1. Go to the EMEA Registration Page and begin registration. 2. Select “Conference Registration Fee (current base price: 1974.00)”. 3. Insert your discount code. 4. Click “Update Price”. The price should recalculate to $0. 5. Click “Ok” and finish registration.

IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Berlin, Germany 2012 Call For Presentations The International DB2 Users Group (IDUG®) is accepting presentation abstracts for the IDUG DB2 Tech Conference in Berlin, Germany, 4 - 9 November 2012. This is your opportunity to share your DB2 experience and expertise with an audience of your peers who rely on, or are considering incorporating DB2 in their shop. If your presentation abstract is selected to be delivered at the conference, you will receive one complimentary conference registration the DB2 Conference in Berlin, Germany.
All presentations must be strongly technical in nature, cannot contain marketing content, and must support and strengthen the information services community by providing the highest quality education and services designed to promote the effective utilization of the DB2 and it’s family of products. Submit your presentation abstract Abstract: Provide a concise abstract of your presentation, not exceeding 425 characters. Example: This presentation provides an early look at some DB2 10 features which will be important to you as the Application Developer or DBA. We will start with the basics and demonstrate how they can be an integral part of a good design strategy. This will allow you to start the planning process early and see if/how they fit in your organization.Unlike other DB2 10 Overview sessions, we will focus exclusively on those which impact application development. If your presentation is selected, this information will be published on the IDUG Web site and in the Final Program distributed to all conference attendees. (Note: Any abstract of more than 425 characters may be edited.) Some presentations may also be selected as repeat sessions.
Audience Experience Level: Select the single, most relevant audience level to which this presentation is geared: Beginner, Intermediate to Advanced Users or All Users. Presentation History: Indicate if this is a new or existing presentation.
