FTP of a VSAM LDS to a remote destination
Is it possible to FTP a VSAM LDS to a Remote Destination ?
Any help will be appreciated .

Not really a DB2 related question, but I would try to use IDCAMS to EXPORT
the file to a sequential file, then ftp that file. On the far end, they
would use IDCAMS and IMPORT. Be sure to do a binary ftp!

Yes, must export it to a flat file, then do XMIT of flat_file to outdsn. Now this
gives us an 80/3120 unloaded binary. So on the put/get either preallocate the
remote dsn or use quote site to get it into FB 80/3120 on the receiving end.
On the receiving end then do the TSO Receive of the flat file and import that into
your target.
