Hello List member,

Since I am kind of new to DBA , Can someone help me to understand , How to
browse the MSTR Log .

Go to Spool Display and Search Facility (SDSF) option "DA OSTC" (Display
Active Only Sarted Tasks) or the equivelent product in your shop. With SDSF
you may have to un-set the prefix (Type "PRE *" on the command line). You
are looking for a group of started tasks that have the suffixes as below:

DSNIRLM
DSNSPAS
DSNDBM1
DSNDIST
DSNTMDLS
DSNTMDB
DSNMSTR

Type a 'S' next to the one that ends in MSTR.

You're there!

If you are referring to the JESLOG, go into SDSF, or whatever syslog
management tool you have and set the prefix to the name of the production
subsystem and select it. There might be some security tied to it so you
might need authorization.
