HANDLE PARAMETER NOT VALID
HELLO LIST AND HAPPY NEW YEAR,

I AM NEW TO DB2 UDB PE V6.1 FOR WINDOWS AND I AM JUST TRYING TO DISCOVER BACKUP AND RECOVERY ISSUES.I HAVE SCHEDULED SOME BACKUP JOBS TO RUN AND NOW I WANT THEM TO BE REMOVED FROM THE PENDING JOBS OF THE JOURNAL.WHEN TRYING TO DO SO, I GET MESSAGE SQL1058N "THE HANDLE PARAMETER IN THE DIRECTORY SCAN COMMAND IS NOT VALID".I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY SUFFICIENT DOCUMENTATION ON THAT MESSAGE. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE SOME MORE INFO ??? (EXCUSE MY ELEMENTARY LEVEL....)

REGARGS,
POPY A. DIMOKA

Re: HANDLE PARAMETER NOT VALID
(in response to Kallia Dimoka)
Are you saying that the jobs have not begun to execute yet and you want to
cancel them? Or, are you saying that you scheduled these jobs, they
executed (or are executing) and now you want to stop seeing them as pending
jobs? I too am using UDB 6.1 (on NT) and haven't seen this problem.

Thanks!

Re: HANDLE PARAMETER NOT VALID

Sorry if i didn't make myself clear!
The jobs are scheduled to run tomorrow so haven't not started to execute yet. They are just in the pending jobs queue and i want to cancel them.Even if i try to reschedule, the error message still remains the same.
My (test) platform is Win98.
