Time out function utility for Applications / Platform?

Time out function utility for Applications / Platform?
New years resolutions:
1) Get more exercise
2) Play with the spouse and kids more often
3) Remember to include DB2 platform on DB2-L when asking questions

:)

DB2 NT, UNIX, OS/2 includes a tool called the governor. I did an extensive
presentation on its features and use at DB2 Tech last fall in New Orleans,
you may have or be able to get the CD from a friend.
The Governor can be used to force off connections that have been idle for a
defined period of time. This functionality works reasonably well, perhaps
one of the tools better features... there are several opportunities for
improvement and "gotchas" ... please let me know if you are on one of these
platforms yet don't have access to the DB2 Tech CD.

Cheers,
Scott
